Ever thought about being an Ump?

At FYBO, we are proud of the youth umpires who umpire the games in our Single A and Triple A Divisions. It is great experience for them to learn the game and gain a leadership role, plus they earn money enjoying America's favorite pastime. The registrants take a class and must pass a test in order to be a FYBO umpire. In order to be a FYBO umpire you must be at least 13 years old. 

The classes will be taught by Umpire Director Paul Kane and FYBO President Steve Gatewood Jr. These classes are free of charge. 

Umpires will receive $30 per game if there are two umpires and $50 if they are assigned to umpire a game solo. Plus, if they umpire 5 games they get an additional game fee!
