The Franklin Futures player development program is an off-season program built for (1) incoming Rookies who have typically just finished up playing tee-ball with the Franklin Recreation Department and (2) incoming Bantams who have typically just finished their Rookie season with FYBO.

The program was first launched in the winter of 2021 and was an immediate success. The program typically runs for 8 sessions, all held at Next9Up through the winter months leading up to the spring season. Space is limited to 24 players for each age group (Rookies/Bantams).

All sessions will be held Saturday evenings at Next9Up  (40 Kenwood Circle, Franklin, MA).  Only Rookies (7 year-old (born between September 1, 2018 and August 31, 2019))) and Bantams (8 year-old (born between May 1, 2017 and August 31, 2018)) are eligible. Rookie sessions are 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM and Bantam sessions are 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM. Sessions are Saturdays, starting January 10, 2026 to February 28, 2026 and there are limited number of slots. Players will receive Professional Instruction as part of this program. The registration fee also includes a "Futures" jersey and "Futures" cap for the player as well.
